Each question is written to assess at least one Common Core State Standard. As we write questions for a specific text, we refer to the CCSS Literature and Informational Text standards for that grade level. These grade-level standards are variations on the College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards for Reading.

|7||Media||Integrate and evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats, including visually and quantitatively.|
|8||Argument||Delineate and evaluate the argument and specific claims in a text, including the validity of the reasoning as well as the relevance and sufficiency of the evidence.|
