What are Literably's student data collection practices?

Answer: Like other online assessment systems, when updating rosters we collect from our customers each student's full name, grade in school, course enrollment information, and a unique district identifier to track students over time. Optional information includes a student's username and password for logging in, and information on a student's starting reading level. We do not currently collect any other information, such as demographic data.

Roster uploads are always carried out over HTTPS and roster files are stored on Amazon S3, whose security practices are detailed in this white paper.
