If English Language Learner status and home language information are uploaded with your roster files, we will apply accent-specific filters to the relevant students' Oral Reading Fluency transcripts to help mitigate some (but not all) instances of second language interference. Technical documentation on this process is available in this Literably Administration Note. Accent filters are not applied for Phonological Awareness or Phonics assessments.
Currently, Literably supports filtering for the following home languages:
- Haitian Creole
These include some of the most commonly spoken home languages, accounting for about 90% of English Language Learners in the United States. Future languages will be completed according to their prevalence in the population.

Literably is designed to accept California state home language codes. For example, if a student's home language is Spanish, you would use the code "01". (Note: Haitian Creole is not included in this list, but is recognized by Literably. If a student's home language is Haitian Creole, enter "Haitian Creole".)
