Literably uses the following conventions to indicate how a student answered prompts in phonological awareness and phonics assessments:

The response is given correctly.	No red text on the response, and no text is grayed out.		The student said "/a/ /t/," with a space in between the sounds.	Correct: 1/1
Omission	Sound(s) said by the student are in black text; sound(s) omitted by the student are grayed out.		The student said "/k/," and then was silent.	Incorrect: 0/1
Substitution	Student's response is in red text, and the correct response is grayed out.		The student said "/sh/."	Incorrect: 0/1
Insertion	Student's insertion is in red text, and the response text is in black.		The student said "/sh/" two times.	Correct: 1/1
Self-Correction	Student's self-correction is in red text and labeled "SC," and the response text is in black.		The student said "/n/," followed by "pik."	Correct: 1/1
