Understanding the Literably Graded Assessment Notification Email Follow
When your student's assessment has been graded, you will receive an automatic email from Literably with your student's results (example below). Clicking on the links in the email will allow you to view the assessments.
Key:
For decodable texts, Literably will report the title of the text, the accuracy score, the WCPM, and the comprehension score. For example, Greg Heffley above read I Can Do It! and scored 95% accuracy, 19 wcpm, and 4/5 on comprehension.
For leveled texts, Literably will report the name of the text, the accuracy score, the WCPM, and the comprehension score. So in the example above, Matilda Wormwood read Tig in the Dumps (a beginning third grade text), scored 99% accuracy, 77 WCPM, and answered 5/5 comprehension questions correctly. She was recommended to assess on a level 3.6 text for her next assessment, based on Literably's leveling criteria. This should match the information under the "Next Assessment" column of your teacher dashboard. (Note: If your district/school is reporting A-Z levels instead of grade levels, the email will report numeric alphabetical levels.)
For Foundational Skills assessments, Literably will report the assessment type and the overall score as a percentage.
Other Notes:
If the student has been recommended for reassessment, the email will indicate that "for this student, we've suggested a big change, so you may wish to re-assess."
If a student's assessment could not be graded, this will also be indicated in the email (example below):
